Maestro Stars has a dedicated team of passionate educators, each committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment that empowers students to excel both academically and personally. While Silicon Valley boasts many excellent STEM teachers, few educators can skillfully integrate academics, arts, and creativity with the necessary experience and patience to teach STEAM classes. Our dedicated team of experienced multidisciplinary teachers has created and refined our curriculum to ensure the highest quality learning experience for our students that not only aligns with the Common Core concepts they’re learning in school, but also goes beyond and enriches their education.
Core Course Highlights​​ - After School
​Science
Maestro Star’s custom-designed science curriculum (created by a PhD scientist and STEM educator) covers a wide range of STEM topics and activities, including those commonly covered in school science fairs and science competitions such as Science Olympics. Our science classes include activities for both knowledge acquisition through educational notes and exercises, as well as many hands-on activities and labs. Our program also includes science fair project mentoring and opportunities for students to compete in science fairs.
​Math
Maestro Stars uses the advanced Singapore Math Dimensions series curriculum as its base to complement the Common Core math children are learning in school and challenge them beyond it. The curriculum is supplemented by IXL practice books, Doodle Notes, and teacher-designed exercises and math games designed to engage students and inspire a love a math. Our math curriculum is designed to prepare and encourage success of students for all math levels and competition challenges.
English
Maestro Star’s ELA classes integrate reading, writing, public speaking, and art to enhance communication skills and ability to express themselves. Using high-quality materials from the Common Core Journeys book series, a Bay Area private school reading list, and teacher-designed exercises, we help students develop skills in communication and self-expression. Students also learn aspects of monologues and theater productions, igniting students’ creativity and boosting their confidence in engaging, entertaining performances.
​Creative Arts
At Maestro Stars, we go beyond teaching technical skills to foster children’s imagination and self-expression, which are essential foundations for leadership and personal fulfillment. Students learn about different artists and styles of art, as well as explore creativity through a variety of artistic mediums. This builds skills like visual-spatial awareness, fine motor control, emotional expression, and critical thinking along with learning to adapt and embrace flexibility in their creative processes.

Extended hours for our After School Program, from 2:30-6:30 pm on weekdays, are designed to accommodate your family’s schedule.

Our After School Program goes beyond core academic subjects to also offer flexible after-school homework support and extra practice, opportunities for music practice, musical theatre performance training, STEAM activities, and P.E. and sports, led by talented, nationally recognized instructors. This rich and diverse program sparks curiosity and fosters a lifelong love of learning across a range of subjects and disciplines. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in math and science competitions.

Unlike programs that rely solely on general instruction, our faculty includes Tony Award-winning performers, internationally recognized vocalists, experienced musical theatre coaches, composers, and conservatory-trained pianists. RCM
The internationally recognized Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum provides a clear, progressive pathway in voice, piano, and composition. Students build technique, theory, repertoire, and musicianship while preparing for global examinations. Our experienced teachers ensure accurate level placement and honors-focused preparation, supporting smooth advancement. Beyond certification, students develop focus, confidence, emotional resilience, and a strong outlet for artistic expression, fostering long-term musical and personal growth.
ABSRM
ABRSM’s internationally recognized Musical Theatre curriculum allows students to explore songs they love while building strong vocal technique, performance skills, and artistic confidence through a structured Grades 1–8 pathway. Students may choose in-person Practical Grades, which assess technique and musicianship with live accompaniment, or flexible digital Performance Grades focused on expressive storytelling. At Maestro Stars, personalized coaching and regular performance opportunities ensure students are well prepared for exams, confident on stage, and artistically well-rounded.
Musical Theatre
Maestro Stars’ Music Program has a strong record of excellence in musical theatre competitions. In 2025, our students earned 14 awards at the Musical Theatre Competitions of America, achieving top scores across solo, duet, monologue, and design categories. These competitive experiences provide meaningful stage exposure, professional adjudication, and performance confidence, helping students develop resilience, artistry, and the poise needed to excel in high-level performances and future opportunities.
